NFL WEEK 10 PICKS

Did Tua Tagovailoa put on a show, or did he put on a show? It’s also pretty insane how closely I predicted this game would work out, I even double downed by sharing my thoughts on twitter.

Before I continue, we recorded another episode of our podcast today and it’d be silly of me to not mention it. The Fanatic Podcast with Mac & Sid Episode 5. Thanks for listening!

Its a very strange feeling seeing the Miami Dolphins all over the media. It seems the Tua Hype Train is in full effect and more and more people are starting to throw respect on the Dolphin name. I can’t pretend to know what it was like to cheer for this team back in ’72 or ’73 for that matter as I wasn’t born nor even a thought. Sure I was alive for the Dan Marino years, and enjoyed every moment of it. However I have never seen this level of excitement or hype around Miami. To go further, I can’t think of any NFL player being talked about as much as Tua has before he even took a snap. This is LeBron James level insanity. Pump the breaks, I am not comparing Tua to LeBron, I’m talking about the hype and buzz surrounding one player and this closely matches to LeBron making his NBA debut.

Is Tua the QB that Miami has been searching for since Dan Marino retired? It certainly feels that way doesn’t it? Its too early to make that claim and unfair to throw that on the young mans shoulders before he starts his 3rd ever NFL game. Tua looked the part. More importantly, Tua is healthy. His runs, his zigs and zags certainly put that giant question to bed. Tua is healthy. Can he stay healthy? Lets enjoy the moment and not be little Debbie Downers with ‘what ifs’. Tua put on a show, he went toe-to-toe with Murray and he led the Dolphins on his first come from behind 4th quarter win. So lets savor this victory and get ready for another QB dual this coming week when we get the 5th pick playing the 6th pick from the 2020 Draft.

Its Tua Vs Herbert this week. The Chargers claim they ‘got the guy we wanted’ and perhaps we will never know if they were secretly hoping and wishing for Miami to take Herbert over Tua, but one thing is for sure, they can’t be angry with how Herbert is playing. While he’s putting up the numbers, the Chargers are finding new ways to lose every week. This is a scary game because the Chargers aren’t as bad as the record says. Yet I think Tua and the Dolphins win this one, and the Dolphins get their 5th win in a row.

This has potential to be a shoot-out, as Herbert can throw the ball all over the field. I think Miami’s lock down corners will be up to the task, and I expect Howard to have a bounce back game with at least one INT. I also think Tua spreads the ball in this game and gets his first 300+ yard passing game. 3TDS, 327 Yards and 48 yards rushing for Tua is my very early prediction and Miami picks up win 6 en route to a convincing 38 – 27 victory.

LAST WEEKS RECORD: 12-2
SEASON RECORD: 108-25
LOCK OF THE WEEK: 10-0 (picked up a bonus last week)

Here are my Week 10 Picks

COLTS 28 vs TITANS 17 – LOCK OF THE WEEK. It’s time to get a little risky, and what is more risky then a divisional game on a Thursday night? We talked a little bit about this game on today’s podcast and I just wasn’t convinced by the Titans win over the Bears last week. They looked off. I am looking to see Philip Rivers capitalize tonight and make this division extra interesting. Don’t worry Titans fans, this is the wake up call they need. Also, it would be nice to see some good happen for Rivers, an extra little wink to the Chargers for bailing on him.

WASHINGTON 17 vs LIONS 20 – I hope I’m wrong on this one, I’d love to see Alex Smith win this game

EAGLES 28 vs GIANTS 24
BILLS 35 vs CARDINALS 38
BRONCOS 17 vs RAIDERS 24
BENGALS 28 vs STEELERS 34
RAVENS 31 vs PATRIOTS 20
TEXANS 21 vs BROWNS 31
BUCCANEERS 42 vs PANTHERS 17
JAGUARS 20 vs PACKERS 45
CHARGERS 27 vs DOLPHINS 38 (Powered by the Throwback Uni’s)
SEAHAWKS 28 vs RAMS 24
49ERS 10 vs SAINTS 42
VIKINGS 31 vs BEARS 13
