Overwatch League free agency 2021 — signings, rosters and schedules

The Overwatch League’s regular season has ended, and every team — even the repeat world champion San Francisco Shock — will be tinkering with their rosters in an attempt to hoist the trophy in 2021.

Here are all the moves that the 20 teams in the Overwatch League have made so far in the offseason.

Dallas Fuel: Fuel announce they have signed former Paris Eternal flex support Kwon “Fielder” Joon and former Houston Outlaws flex support Kim “Rapel” Jung-keun.

Houston Outlaws: Outlaws announce they have re-signed flex DPS Dante “Danteh” Cruz.

Oct. 26

San Francisco Shock: Shock announce they have promoted analyst Cas “Casores” van Andel to assistant coach and have hired Hong “Agape” Cheol-yong as a coach.

Philadelphia Fusion: Fusion announce they have re-signed coaches Sim “Mobydik” Seung-bo and Christopher “ChrisTFer” Graham.

Shanghai Dragons: Dragons announce the departures of Weida “Diya” Lu, Kim “Geguri” Se-yeon, Bae “diem” Min-seong, Yang “DDing” Jin-hyeok and Yang “Luffy” Seong-hyeon.

Oct. 25

San Francisco Shock: Shock announce they are parting ways with flex DPS Kim “Rascal” Dong-jun.

Oct. 24

Atlanta Reign: Reign announce release of coaches Dimitri “Silence” Couturet, Kim “Mentalist” Chung-in and Steven “Kodak” Rosenberge. Silence also announces his retirement.

Los Angeles Gladiators: Former Gladiators DPS Jason “Jaru” White announces he is retiring.

Washington Justice: Justice announce they have re-signed flex DPS Jang “Decay” Gui-un and signed main tank Kim “Mag” Tae-sung.

Toronto Defiant: Defiant announce the signing of ex-Philadelphia Fusion head coach Kim “KDG” Dong-gun, who the Fusion released Oct. 21. He will be the head coach of Toronto.

Los Angeles Gladiators: Gladiators support Jonas “Shaz” Suovaara announces his retirement.

Toronto Defiant: Defiant announce they have re-signed hitscan DPS Andreas “Logix” Berghmans.

Dallas Fuel: Fuel announce they have signed former Element Mystic and Paris Eternal players Yeong-han “SP9RK1E” Kim and Han-been “Hanbin” Choi as well as Hee-won “RUSH” Yun to be their head coach.

Philadelphia Fusion: Fusion off tank Kim “Fury” Jun-ho announces he is looking for a team as a free agent.

Washington Justice: Justice announce they have released main tank Gye “rOar” Chang-hoon.

Atlanta Reign: Reign announce they have released flex DPS Garrett “Saucy” Roland, main support Anthony “Fire” King, flex DPS Joon “Erster” Jeong, flex support Dusttin “Dogman” Bowerman, off-tank Nathan “frd” Goebel and main tank Park “Pokpo” Hyun-jun.

Paris Eternal: Eternal announce they have released main tank Jeong “NoSmite” Da-un, off tank Eoghan “Smex” O’Neill and flex support Kwon “Fielder” Joon.

Seoul Dynasty: Dynasty announce they have re-signed flex DPS Park “Profit” Joon-yeong and main tank Hong “Gesture” Jae-hee. Also,off-tank Choi “Michelle” Min-hyuk, flex support Choi “Bdosin” Seung-tae, flex DPS Park “ILLICIT” Je-min and main supports Yang “tobi” Jin-mo and Kim “Slime” Sung-jun announce they are looking for a team as a free agent.

Hangzhou Spark: Spark announce they have signed hitscan DPS/flex support Zheng “Shy” Yang-jie.

Oct. 21

Toronto Defiant: The Defiant announced they were parting ways with all but one player on their roster: Brady “Agilities” Girardi, Liam “Mangachu” Campbell, Lane “Surefour” Roberts, Thomas “zYKK” Hosono, Adam “Beast” Denton, Andreas “Nevix” Karlsson, Seb “numlocked” Barton, Park “Kariv” Young-seo, Harrison “Kruise” Pond and Park “Roky” Joo-seong.

New York Excelsior: NYXL announce they are parting ways with hitscan DPS Jeong “Nenne” Yeon-kwan, flex DPS Lee “WhoRU” Seung-jun, DPS and off-tanks Kim “BiaNcA” Dong-wook and Choi “HOTBA” Hong-joon, tank.

Philadelphia Fusion: Fusion announce they are parting ways with head coach Kim “KDG” Dong-gun. The team also released DPS Doomfist main Philip “ChipSa” Graham.

Oct. 20

New York Excelsior: NYXL flex DPS Kim “Haksal” Hyo-jong announces his retirement.

Boston Uprising: Uprising announce flex DPS Kelsey “Colourhex” Birse is signing a new contract with the team, main tank Cameron “Fusions” Bosworth and Leyton “Punk” Gilchrist are is locking their his option years, and flex support Seo “Myunb0ng” Sang-min is returning for the second year of his contract. The team is currently discussing options with hitscan DPS Min “Jerry” Tae-hee and main tank Park “Axxiom” Min-seo. Assistant coach Valentin “Ascoft” Wulfman will return for his second season.

Houston Outlaws: Outlaws announce former off tank Matt “coolmatt” Iorio will become the team’s general manager.

Oct. 18

New York Excelsior: Former NYXL and RunAway flex DPS Hwang “Fl0w3R” Yeon-oh announces he is looking for a team as a free agent.

Hangzhou Spark: Spark release flex DPS Chon “Ado” Gi-hyeon, flex DPS Kang “Adora” Jae-hwan, DPS/tank Song “SASIN” Sang-hyeon, flex support Yoon “BeBe” Hui-chang and off tank Park “Ria” Seong-wook

Oct. 17

Dallas Fuel: Main tank Noh “Gamsu” Young-jin announces he is retiring from professional Overwatch and returning to play League of Legends. The Fuel also announced they have extended DPS Kim “Doha” Dong-ha for 2021 but are parting ways with the rest of their roster.

Vancouver Titans: Titans announce they have re-signed flex DPS Dalton “Dalton” Bennyhoff, main tank Abtin “ShRedLock” Shirvani and flex support Randal “Roolf” Stark.

Philadelphia Fusion: Fusion flex DPS Josue “Eqo” Corona announces his contract is expiring and he is a free agent.

London Spitfire: Spitfire release main tank Choi “JMAC” Dae-han.

Atlanta Reign: Reign main tank Park “Pokpo” Hyun-jun announces he is looking for a team as a free agent.

Vancouver Titans: Former Vancouver Titans and Seoul Dynasty flex support Ryu “ryujehong” Je-hong announces he is looking for a team as a free agent.

Oct. 16

Los Angeles Valiant: Valiant release main tank Rick “GiG” Salazar, off tank Caleb “McGravy” McGarvey and flex DPS Damon “Apply” Conti.

Vancouver Titans: Titans release DPS Samir “Tsuna” Ikram, off tank Alhumaidi “KSAA” Alruwaili and main support Carson “CarCar” First.

Dallas Fuel: Fuel hitscan DPS Stefan “Onigod” Fiskerstrand, flex support William “Crimzo” Hernandez, main support Nolan “Paintbrush” Edwards, off tank Lucas “NotE” Meissner and main support Jung “Closer” Won-sik announce their contracts will not be renewed and they are free agents.
